  1. How do you know it’s overpriced? Might just be a jazzy way to serve water?

  2. The most pretentious way i have seen water served thats for sure

If the barman is wearing a suit you know you’re going to overpay for your drinks

It’s $75, not overpriced at all:

    $5 for the water

    $2 sales tax

    $5 prep fee

    $8 for materials

    $5 presentation fee

    $50 mandatory gratuity

    🤷🏾‍♀️

I tried this at home but it was disgusting. I forgot to spin the ice, that step is crucial

    HOLY SHIT

This AMAZING chef just made WATER

  7. Hollowed_Dude

Bruh my room is in the attic and water is downstairs…I’m fucking parched. I’d give anything for one of those cups of holy water

  8. Gotta make sure you stir that ice real good to get it properly… uhh… iced?

I like it. Let’s not pretend we all wouldn’t mind having been served water this way atleast once in our life.

It could feel overpriced if you do not align with the intent of this beverage presentation.

Yeah it’s over the top, but this guy is one of the top mixologist/bartenders in Japan. Putting on a show with every pour, even something as bland as water, is part of the reason you’d go to his bar.

I was at a restaurant a couple weeks ago where a mixed drink had spaghetti water in it.

The fancy ice moons would get me, I’m a sucker for a good presentation tho

  13. Jinli_Cai

Would you like still, sparkling, or spinning water?

  14. StormOfFatRichards

    Today I will

    Spin this ice

    Spinny spinny spin it good

  15. gergsisdrawkcabeman

I’d have been all in, but he didn’t rim the glass with crushed ice. Like, literally what the fuck?

  16. NexexUmbraRs

This is probably free. If you’re there, you’re already spending a lot. It’s an experience, and he’s probably going to get plenty of tips, so it’s worth the show.

Ummm, sorry to ask but can I actually have my water with no ice? It hurts my teeth

  18. Bussamove86

My main gripe is those iceballs are trash. I mainly worked in dive and sports bars but when we broke out the molds we actually put some effort into making the ice look nice.

No one serving or making food should be wearing long draped sleeves.

Imagine being thirsty and having to wait through this rigmarole
